Where and how are you guys registering for the forums only and not for BG? I thought I deleted/removed/disabled all the links for forums registration and only have BG registration setup.

If this is related to a login problem, then I have this problem. But I registered through the main page of the site. And even went through it several times before the problem arose. I came through the forum only when you gave such a recommendation.
You need to login using your email address and password for the BG part of the site. If you login via the forums you can use your username.
